Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver a diverse range of therapeutic and recreational activities tailored to patient needs
- Encourage participation and foster social interaction among patients
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other departments to ensure holistic care
- Keep accurate records of activity participation and progress
- Support the emotional and psychological well-being of residents
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role (healthcare or elder care setting an advantage)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Creativity, empathy, and a genuine passion for patient care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Garda Vetting clearance is essential prior to commencing employment
