Role Overview
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the Finance Manager will lead a team of four within an internationally recognised brand with a strong Irish heritage. This is a hands-on role combining people leadership with strong technical and transactional finance capability, supporting accurate reporting, compliance, and continuous improvement across the finance function.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, develop, and performance-manage a team of four finance professionals

Support the preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L and Balance Sheet reporting

Oversee accurate postings and reconciliations across Sales, Purchase, and Nominal Ledgers

Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations with supporting documentation

Manage customer invoicing, payment runs, and assist with weekly payroll

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, costing, and financial analysis alongside the Finance Director

Support year-end audit processes and statutory filings (VAT, PAYE/PRSI, RCT)

Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and contribute to finance automation and continuous improvement initiatives
The Person
-
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 5 years’ post-qualification experience
- Strong demonstrable team/people Management

Strong technical accounting expertise with solid month-end and year-end experience

Proven experience managing and developing a finance team

Advanced Excel skills; Microsoft BC/NAV experience an advantage

Detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of managing multiple priorities

Proactive, collaborative, and confident communicating across the business
