Our client is seeking a reliable and hardworking Caretaker/Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming educational environment based in Greystones

This hands-on position combines caretaking, general maintenance, grounds upkeep, and cleaning responsibilities. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring that facilities are maintained to a high standard for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

General caretaking and facilities support
Routine maintenance and minor repairs
Upkeep of external grounds and outdoor areas
Cleaning of classrooms, offices, toilets, and communal spaces
Reporting maintenance issues promptly
Ensuring health, safety, and cleanliness standards are maintained

Requirements

Previous experience in caretaking, maintenance, cleaning, or a similar role
Ability to work independently and use initiative
Flexible approach to working a mix of day and evening hours
Garda Vetting Clearance will be required
Reliable, practical, and well organised
Good communication skills and attention to detail
