Flexiforce, A hartley people company are currently recruiting for a temporary Payroll Specialist, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for a specified period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly and monthly payroll for a designated group of employees.
- Ensure accurate input of employee data, including hours worked, deductions, and benefits.
- Calculate and process payroll taxes, deductions, and net pay.
- Prepare and distribute pay slips and other payroll-related documents.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues.
- Assist with year-end payroll processes, including W-2 and tax form preparation.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Utilise payroll software (Coin) to process payroll efficiently.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for payroll processing.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- IPASS qualification
- Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably with Coin software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
