HR Assistant

Flexiforce, A Hartley People Company are recruiting a HR Assistant for our client based in Ferrybank, Waterford. This position is a Temporary short term contract with a possibility of extending.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job vacancies, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, coordinating orientation sessions, and assisting with new employee paperwork.
  • Provide administrative support for HR functions, such as maintaining employee records, updating HR databases, and generating HR reports.
  • Assist with employee relations activities, including responding to employee inquiries, resolving minor issues, and participating in meetings as needed.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in in Human Resources Management or related field- Required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
