Flexiforce, a Hartley People Company, is seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Job Description:
As a Cleaner you will be working in a hospital setting. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across various areas of the facility. You will ensure that all rooms, hallways, bathrooms, and common areas are cleaned to the highest standards, contributing to the overall health and well-being of our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, public areas, offices, bathrooms, and corridors.
- Ensure infection control procedures are followed to maintain a sterile and safe environment.
- Disinfect and clean medical equipment and surfaces as per hospital protocols.
- Empty waste bins and dispose of waste in accordance with hospital regulations.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the relevant departments.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining stock levels of cleaning supplies.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and hospital policies at all times.
- Provide support during emergency cleaning procedures, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting (preferred but not required).
- Knowledge of infection control standards and safe cleaning practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to follow instructions and hospital protocols.
Working Hours:
- Full-time and part-time positions available.
- Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
